Don’t confuse modular
construction with a trailer! We design and build larger and more
complex buildings. Our expertise is in buildings ranging from 1,000SF
to over 300,000SF. Affordable Structures specializes in building
custom, commercial portable and modular buildings to meet a
customer’s exact space needs.
Modular construction is simply manufacturing and assembling the major
components of a building in a controlled factory environment.
Unlike residential modular, commercial modular gives you the
option of designing your own floor plan and elevation at no additional
cost. We rarely build the same building twice!!!
Our
typical building is 75-80% complete when it leaves the factory and
travels to the site for installation and finishes by our own crews.
Affordable Structures typically has more site-installed
finishes
than our competitors due to the level of quality we offer which cannot
be achieved by providing factory finish before setup. Our
exteriors particularly are the best in the industry, comparing to site
built structures in aesthetics.
The biggest benefit to modular is it has a short time of construction
period. Once your permits are in place, we can be preparing
the
building site while we are building the building at the factory.
Then you have immediate delivery / setup / completion.
Our
average time of construction once permits are issued is 90 days.
